ROGER TRUDEL 1933 - 2006 After a lengthy battle with cancer, Roger Trudel passed away peacefully at home with his wife and family by his side. He leaves to mourn his wife Lucille; children, Diane, Doreen (Lévis), Norman (Gisele), five grandchildren; step-children, Lyse (Ruben), Don (Teri), Lynn (Jay), Mona (Allan); five step- grandchildren; nine brothers; three sisters; and their families. Roger was predeceased by his father and mother; his first wife, a son-in-law; sister-in-laws; brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews. Roger will always be remembered as a man who was both strong and good. In the earlier years, Roger's career earned him the nickname PLUMBER around town. His love for the outdoors was reflected in his passion for deer and moose hunting. Fall was his favorite time of the year. His time spent with family and friends and at the cottage in Woodridge fostered a collection of wonderful memories. For all the lives that Roger touched, one of the greatest gifts he leaves is his keen sense of humour. Roger could easily put a smile on your face and fill a room with laughter when he was sharing jokes or telling his hunting stories. In the love that surrounds us, we find strength. In the memories we cherish, we find peace. We will celebrate his life at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 22. Prayers at 1:30 p.m. followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Cancer Care Manitoba. The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to everyone that supported Roger during his illness. Arrangements entrusted with VITA FUNERAL HOMES St. Pierre Chapel , St. Pierre, MB.
