LESLIE PETER SCHROEDER October 27, 1951 - September 20, 2006 On September 20, 2006 Les went home peacefully after a two-year struggle with cancer. His mother Susan Schroeder predeceased Les. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Linda; his daughter Wendy Heier (Paul); his son Jerry Schroeder (Brenda); and three grandchildren, Jessica Heier, Kyle Heier and Morgan Schroeder. Les is survived by his father John Schroeder; and his siblings, Brian (Chandra), Martha Reimer (John), Esther, Kenneth (Anne), Sharon Mueller (Raymond), John, Henry (Kim), Phillip (Margaret); many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his in-laws, Coral Wilson, Pat and Len Luders, Les and Ted Clampitt, Barb and Byron Rutley, Doug Wilson and Helen Redko; and nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 23, at 1:30 p.m. at the Word of Life Church, 233-3rd Street South, Niverville, MB with viewing one hour prior to the service.
