Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERMYAL WYONA EMIRY (nee EADY) September 13, 1918 August 23, 2006 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ermyal Emiry at her home at the Park Manor residence in Winnipeg, MB. Ermyal was born in Sioux Lookout, ON to Richard and Armina Eady. Ermyal's early years were spent in Sioux Lookout and later Thunder Bay, ON where she worked in a factory during the war. It was there that she met and married Donald Emiry. Don's work with the CIBC took them to many Northern Ontario towns until they settled in Winnipeg where Don eventually retired. Throughout her life, Ermyal was an avid gardener of vegetables and flowers. She was also a great cook and baker. She was also a great knitter of socks and mitts which were often given as gifts to her many nieces and nephews. While living at Fred Douglas' place in Winnipeg, Ermyal and her friends would knit and donate socks and mittens to the Christmas cheer drive. She is predeceased by her parents Richard and Armina Eady; her husband Donald; her brothers Dan, Ray, and Doug and her sisters Nell Hunt and Mick Johnson. She leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Interment of ashes has taken place in the family plot in Sioux Lookout Ontario on August 29, 2006. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart Stroke Foundation through the Sioux Lookout Funeral Home, Box 1449, Sioux Lookout Ontario P8T 1B9. God knew she was suffering That the hills were hard to climb, So he closed his weary eyelids And whispered peace be thine . Away in the beautiful hills of God, By the valley of rest so fair, Someday, we know not when, We will meet our loved one there
