MARY DELGATY Peacefully, on September 18, 2006, Mary passed away at the River East Personal Care Home at the age of 87 years. Besides her loving husband Harvey, she will be sadly missed by her daughter Marilyn (Tony), sons David (Lorraine) and Ken, four grandchildren Darren (Margaret), Lisa (Bob), Ryan and Kayla, great-granddaughter Megan, sister Jean Russell (Jim) and sister-in-law Beda Boychuk as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her mother Teenie (Nick), sisters Nellie and Anne and brother Steve. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Most important of all to her was her family. Memories of her sense of humour, wit, and big smile will forever remain with us and warm our hearts. She also loved watching baseball, her favourite team, the Toronto Blue Jays. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at River East Personal Care Home for their kind and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place with Mary's ashes placed with her mother in the Elmwood Cemetery. A private family celebration of Mary's life will take place. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations in Mary's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
