DAVID ALLEN HONKEY August 27, 1958 - September 17, 2006 Suddenly on Sunday, September 17, 2006, David peacefully passed away at his residence. David will be lovingly remembered by his Mom and Dad, Isabelle and Hilbert Honkey; older sister Carol Novak and children, Pam, Ian (Vikki), Carissa, Amber and Buddy; younger sister Donna Blanco (Kevin) and children, Candace (Kelly) and his great nephew Austyn, Brian and Nichole. He will also be sadly missed by all his friends at the Madison and his long time friend Donald Blanco. In spite of David's two illness', he still looked forward to coming home every Sunday to have breakfast with Mom, Dad and Carol. He also enjoyed his weekly lunches with his Dad. In keeping with David's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Our family expresses our sincere appreciation to the wonderful staff at Madison House for all their wonderful care and support. Donation's in David's memory may be made to the Arthritis Society, 105-386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6 or to the Schizophrenia Society Inc. Manitoba, 100-4 Fort St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1C4. David, no one heard the footsteps of angels drawing near. Who took from earth to heaven the one we loved so dear. Our son and brother has not really left us. Nor has he travelled far. Just entered God's beautiful garden and left the door ajar. No more voices, No more pain. Rest in peace Dave.
