BRIAN LAWRENCE On Thursday, September 21, 2006 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Brian Lawrence passed away at the age of 68. Predeceased in 1992 by his wife Coralie, Brian is survived by sons, Craig (Lisa) and Ian (Pam); grandchildren, Quinn, McKenah, Matthew, Jack, Gabrielle, and Joseph; sister-in-law Lesley Campbell, her husband Bruce, and their family. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Brian lived in St. James in his younger years. After marrying Coralie in 1960, the couple moved to Charleswood where they began their family. Aside from an enjoyable two-year stint in Toronto in the early 1970s, Brian would remain in Charleswood until the year before his death when he returned to St. James. A complex but true gentleman, Brian will be remembered for his three-newspaper-a-day habit, his opinions, his sense of humour and especially for his love of family and friends. The family is very grateful to his wide circle of friends for their compassion, attention, and understanding. Brian will be missed. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held on Tuesday, September 26 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A reception will follow. CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715
