NORMAN R. PETERSON Peacefully at the age of 91, Norman passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre on Friday, September 22, 2006. He was born and raised in Morden, MB with his two sisters and four brothers. Commenced farming in St. Eustache, MB and served for four years in the Canadian Navy during the Second World War. Eventually settling in Headingley, MB. Predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Kathleen (Kay); brothers, Alfred, Morris and Jimmy. Survived by sisters, Cora Masson, Isobel Bland, both of Winnipeg; brother Harry (Ida) of Abbotsford, BC; eldest son Allan (Margaret) and family of Saint John, NB; as well as his youngest son Ron, currently residing in North Carolina, USA. Special thanks to staff at Deer Lodge Centre, as well as his niece Rae (Tom) Campbell, for exceptional caregiving at a time of need. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, donations to the Grace Hospital will be appreciated. A gathering of family and close friends will be held on Monday, September 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave.
