Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK DANIEL MONCRIEFF O'CONNOR May 31, 1918 - July 30, 2005 MEMORIAL SERVICE Frank passed away in July 2005 after a lengthy illness. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Victory Memorial Church at 254 Arnold St. on Thursday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. with interment of the ashes to follow in the family plot, Section T, St Mary's Cemetery. Frank was born and went to school in Winnipeg, graduating from Daniel McIntyre in 1937. He went to work for the CPR after serving in the RCAF during the Second World War. He married in 1942 and he and Peggy Lyons raised four children in Winnipeg. In 1978, he retired from the CPR as Superintendent of Rules in Montreal. He and Peggy settled in Sidney, BC. He is missed by his wife of 63 years; his four children, James, Frances, Peggy and David; his six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; his younger brother Bernard and many nieces and nephews who fondly remember his devotion to family and sense of humour.
