MARY MAUREEN DAUGHERTY Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on February 16, 1925. Maureen left this life peacefully at Mt. Carmel East Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends on September 23, 2006. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank (Mick) Daugherty; parents, William and Sarah McCoy; and brother, William (Bill) McCoy. Survived by daughter, Diane (Terry) Malone; grandson, Sean Malone; sisters-in-law, Zita Trimmer of Lancaster, OH and Florence McCoy of Winnipeg; nieces and nephews, Glenn (Denise) McCoy of Vancouver BC, Colleen (Lee) Hopfner, Maureen (David) Mateush and Mark (Monika) McCoy all of Winnipeg, Mary Ellen Double of Oceanview, DE, John (Nanci) Castorr of Dallas, TX, Michael Cassidy of Oakland, CA, Amy (Dave) Adornato and Kate Adornato of Montclair, NJ; and numerous cousins in Canada and Ireland. Maureen is also survived by her dear friend, Virginia Kaltenbach. Maureen grew up in East Kildonan, Winnipeg. After moving to Ohio in 1952, she worked for the Kroger Co. and retired with over 25 years of service. She always enjoyed time with friends and loved ones.
