MARYANNE DYCK (nee DOROSH) After a very courageous struggle with cancer, on September 23, 2006, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Maryanne Dyck, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt passed away peacefully at the age of 63 years. Maryanne was predeceased by her father William Dorosh; her sister Bonnie Wiebe; and her grandsons, Porter and Nash. Remaining to cherish her memory are husband George; son Michael Mislan (Sabine); daughters, Michelle Laird (Bob) and Diana Mislan (Todd); grand-children, Dustin, Steven, Jennifer, Billy and Tristin; mother Margaret Dorosh; sisters, Diane Johnson (Zane) and Judy Huryk; brother-in-law Jim Wiebe; as well as other in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends. In her youth, Maryanne enjoyed baseball, bowling and fishing with her father Bill. Nana enjoyed being surrounded by all her grand-children; especially at Christmas time. She will always be remembered as a person willing to give, rather than receive. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 28, at Coutu Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Special thanks to the staff at CancerCare MB, the staff in the E.R. unit at the St. Boniface Hospital, and the homecare staff.
