T. L. (LESLIE) TULLY It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of their dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Leslie, on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the Portage District Hospital. Les was born on January 30, 1919, on the family farm in the Poplar Heights District near Marquette, son of the late Walter and Ellen Tully. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 65 years Edith; sons Doug (Irene), Larry (Betty-Lou), Keith (Cathy), Howard (Wanda); 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Following his father's footsteps, Les pursued his passion for dairy farming which he passed along to his sons. He took great pride in establishing a herd of registered Holsteins, which came to be known as Tulmar Holsteins . Through the years, Les was very active in the community serving as board member of the Marquette Co-op, Trustee of the local school board, and he served in various positions with 4-H and the church. During his retirement he found a great sense of achievement watching the next three generations succeed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30 at 11:00 a.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main St., Stonewall, MB.
