SOPHIE (SALLY) MALLON August 15, 1912 ~ September 25, 2006 Peacefully, on September 25, 2006 Sophie passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 94. Sophie was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1981; sister Violet; brother John; son-in-law Blake; brother-in-law George; and nephew Alec. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Patricia Gow, Marguerite Grantham and granddaughter Tracey (Alastair) Grantham. Sophie will be missed by her sister Ann Maryk with her family Georgina and David. She will also be remembered niece Carolynne as well as family friends Art Ganchow and Joyce Clark. Sophie grew up in Winnipeg, after marrying Jack they settled in the St. James area where they raised their family. Sophie was always cheerful and her sweet nature will be missed by everyone. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 29 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with a reception to follow. The family would like to thank Mildred and the other homecare worker's for their care and attention.
