ANNIE ANDRUSCHAK December 17, 1913 - September 26, 2006 It is with great sadness that the Andruschak family announces the passing of their beloved mother, baba, and great-baba at 92 years of age. Annie was predeceased by her husband John Andruschak; her sister Mary Powzun and brothers, Mike, Harry, Bill and Joe Wilchowy. She will forever be remembered by her sons, Allan Andruschak, his wife Pam, Peter Andruschak and his wife Diane. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Andrea (Vince), Roberta (Curtis), Leanna, Tanya, Ariauna, JR; nieces, Eleanor, Betty and nephew Brian. Annie took great pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed passing on cultural traditions such as perogi and halopchi making. Last year, her great-grandson Ethan was born and she was overjoyed by this newest addition to her family circle. Ethan brought a sparkle to her eyes and new energy to her already brilliant spirit. Annie will also be missed by her good friend Sophie Stefaniuk. They lived life's journey together for 58 years. Annie was a giving, strong willed, and intelligent individual. She revelled in sharing a good story with family and friends. She also appreciated nature, enjoyed gardening, and above all watching things grow. Thank-you to the staff at Donwood Manor and Concordia Hospital, especially her caregiver and friend Mickey. At Annie's request, cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Annie's memory to the Concordia Hospital.
