HENRY MAKENBACH 1956 - 2006 Tragically, on Saturday, September 23, 2006, in Sicamous, BC, Henry Makenbach of Hazelridge, MB, aged 50, passed away. Beloved husband and best friend of Kathleen, the love of his life since 1978; loving and adored dad to Danielle, age 20, and Sarah, age 18; loving son of Nell Makenbach and big brother to Perry. Predeceased by his dad Hank Makenbach in 1996. Lovingly remembered by countless dear friends and family in Ontario, Quebec, California and The Netherlands. Henry was a machinist for over 26 years and enjoyed a 17-year career at Standard Aero in Winnipeg. This year he realized a long-time dream of working for himself and established HGM Carrier. Henry had an enthusiasm for life and was passionate about family and friends. He had a love of music and cars, a keen interest in ham radio communications, a passion for the outdoors and particularly for hunting with his best friend Rob Griffin and took great pride in his Harley Davidson. A service celebrating Henry's life will be held on Saturday, October 7, at 1:00 p.m., at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour, officiated by Reverend Peter Cain.
