LIONEL KENNETH MCCORMACK September 25, 1946 - September 26, 2006 It is with deepest sorrow we mourn the passing of Lionel Kenneth McCormack, 60, of Winnipeg, MB. Sadly missed by his loving wife Darlene McCormack; sons, Kenneth Lionel (Jacqueline), Vincent Kent (Jennifer), Jamie Ross; grand-children, Jamie Lee, Kristy, Kendra, Branden, Destiny, Joey; siblings, Penny (George) of Edmonton, AB, Phylis (Chuck) of Teulon, MB, Doug (Pam) of Parksville, BC, and Sam of Errington, BC; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lionel was predeceased by his parents, Phyllis and Doug; his younger brother Gary; and his nephew Christopher. Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and supporting friend. Lionel had a love for life envied by many. He loved each and every person who came to his door or crossed his daily path. He was a creative, inventive and ingenious person - loved by many friends who thrived on his amusing life stories. His affinity for restoring vintage automobiles and antiques, such as his 1969 ford which showcased his favourite saying on the back There's Nothin Finer Than A '69er , is one of many testaments to his creative abilities. Lionel enjoyed working in his yard, mowing grass and tending to his exotic and many well known plants, flowers and foliage. His yard is a reflection of his nurturing and loving spirit. Lionel was well known for his sharp style of dress which added to his colorful personality. Services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy #1 East at Navin Rd., 204-222-3241. Viewing at 1:30 pm.
