Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDERICKA WARMINGTON Fredericka Warmington (Drummond) (Aunt Tiny), our dear beloved mother and grandmother, peacefully departed this life on September 24, 2006. Born in Jamaica September 15, 1922. Immigrated to Canada on October 25, 1985. Predeceased by parents, Alexander and Mary; thirteen brothers and sisters; husband John. Survived by children, Silmore, Shirline, Kenneth, Denroy and Heron; daughters-in-law, Rachel, Marcia; grandchildren, Kay, Debbie, Mark, Andre, Tyrone, Kishon, Darcy, Kevon, Teaka and Justin; great-grandchildren, Remington, Zhendyn, Joshua; mothered several other children, numerous nieces and nephews in the United States, England, Jamaica, Cuba and Canada. Sister Warmington was a woman that can not be classified or described as just a caregiver, but was also an inspirational woman inside and out of the church and home. She was vibrantly embellished in her Christian faith. For those who knew her would truly say that Fredericka was the thriving foundation of any atmosphere in which she partook. A woman with such a strong belief in Christ could only be described as sublime. This obituary would ultimately be incomplete without giving thanks to the palliative care staff of the Selkirk General Hospital and Health Sciences Centre A4 Unit, Selkirk Regional Health Authority, Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Seventh Day Adventist Church Ministerial Group and all the caregiving staff throughout her illness. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 6, 11:00 a.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1314 Henderson Hwy. Interment and reception to follow at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Pastor Jeff Potts officiating. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, 10 - 120 Donald Street Winnipeg, MB., R3C 4G2.
