BRONISLAW (BEN) KONARSKI It is with much sadness that the family announces the passing of Bronislaw (Ben) Konarski on September 27, 2006. Bronislaw was born October 7, 1935 in Rozdwiany, Poland. He immigrated to Canada on October 22, 1957 with his mother Aniela to join his father Pawel. He met and married his wife Aleksandra on November 24, 1962 and had two children. Bronislaw was a quiet man who never had any unkind words for anyone. He had a quick smile for everyone and made each person feel comfortable around him. When he did talk, it was usually to add humour to the situation. He was a kind and compassionate man. He enjoyed talking and laughing with his family and friends, and took pleasure in fishing, camping and tinkering in the garage and around the home. Bronislaw was a devoted husband of 44 years and a loving father who always put the needs of his family first. He will be deeply missed by his wife Aleksandra; son Jerry; daughter Janet (Donald); sister Bernice (Marion); nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 9:30 a.m. with an Oblate Father as celebrant. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Donald McCauley, John Gawron, Richard Fedon, Michael Luczak, Michael Gault and Todd Makar.
