EDITH MARY (PAT) INGLIS February 8, 1919 September 26, 2006 Pat was predeceased and is now reunited with John, her loving husband of 65 years. She was born in Banstead, Surrey, England. Pat met John, who was in service with the RCE, in England and they were married in 1941. They moved to Canada and settled in Winnipeg in 1945. Pat loved caring for her beautiful flower garden. She also enjoyed bowling, the fibre art class at CNIB, and her associated membership at the Royal Canadian Legion in Elmwood. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beckenham; sisters, Helen and Hilda; and brothers, Frank and George. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Melvyn of Comox, BC, Gary (Muriel) of Winnipeg; daughter Sandra (Michael) of Dauphin; granddaughter Kimberly (Matt); and great grand-children, Nicholas and Jacob of Kimberly, BC; grandson Jason of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law, Betty and Ethel; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation and a private family service have taken place at Green Acres Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations in Pat's name to the CNIB.
