PHILIP THEODORE ALLARD February 9, 1933 - September 26, 2006 Philip Allard, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on September 26 at the Riverview Health Centre at the young age of 73 with his family gathered around him. Philip is predeceased by his parents Octave and Mary Louise; sister Irene Lambourn; brother Ernie and his brother-in-law Loc. He is survived by his loving wife Nellie; sons, Errol (Lorna), Andy (Susan), Doug; grand-daughters, Jennifer, Christine (Derek); great-grandson Joshua apple of his eye and his family dog Missy. He also leaves to mourn in his passing his sisters, Julie MacKinnon, Denise (Albert) Ross, Donalda (Ralph) Blaauw of London, ON, Elaine (Dan) Defries and brother Victor (Judy) Allard of Dryden; brother-in-law George; sister-in-law Mary, plus many nieces and nephews. Philip worked at Burns Meats for 45 years. He spent many wonderful years at his cottage with his family in Ponemah. His hobbies included bowling, darts and watching his kids and granddaughter play sports. He was also an active member of the Fort Rouge Legion No. 252. A very special thank you to the staff on the East 3rd floor wing of Riverview Centre for the wonderful care and compassion Dad and the family received. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment. Remembrances may be made to the Riverview Health Centre, Foundation Office, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4.
