KENNETH MURDOCH (KEN) MACAULAY Born October 8, 1922 in Glasgow Scotland, died September 25, 2006 Victoria, BC Canada after a brief battle with cancer. Ken is survived by his wife Lynne (nee Napper), sons, Iain (Winnipeg), Donald (Victoria), and daughter Janet (Winnipeg). Ken enlisted in the Royal Air Force in 1939 and completed two tours with Bomber Command, attaining the rank of Flight Lieutenant. When he left the RAF in 1955, he joined Scandinavian Airlines, coming to Canada in 1959. Later he worked as an investment broker in Winnipeg until his retirement in 1984. Ken was a lifetime member of the Royal Air Force Association and the Wartime Pilots' and Observers' Association. A celebration of Ken's life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, at 2964 Richmond Rd., Victoria on October 2, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. A second celebration of Ken's life will be held in Winnipeg in the near future. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Terry's Tigers), 310-1682 West 7th Ave., Vancouver, BC, V6J 4S6, or a charity of your choice.
