RUTHVEN (PATSY) MOHAMMED It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Ruthven Patsy Mohammed. He was the husband of Brenda, father of Denise (Robert), Gail (Brian), Tricia and Kimberley. Papa to six beloved grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pat emigrated from Trinidad and attended the Universities of Manitoba and Winnipeg where he graduated with his B.Sc. degree. He also attended Red River College where he received his Electronic Diploma. During his years at University and Red River College, Pat worked at St. Boniface Hospital and returned there after working on the Dew Line as Chief Radar Technician. Pat will be greatly missed by his siblings, Sonny, Merle, Pearl, Keith, Bede, Vinette, Anne, Doreen, Jenny, Pat, Helen, Michael and their respected spouses, as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m. in Mary Mother of Church, 85 Kirkbridge Dr., with viewing one hour prior with Fr. Rudolph Mohammed presiding. Interment will follow in Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St. Special thanks to the medical teams at Victoria General Hospital, St. Boniface and Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or a charity of your choice.
