JEAN BARSKE It is with extreme sorrow the family announces the passing of Jean Barske, beloved wife of Frank, on Saturday, September 23, 2006. Jean passed peacefully at Health Sciences Centre after a short illness. Left to cherish Jean's memory is her loving husband Frank of 62 years of marriage; her son Lorne (Brenda) and daughter Fern (Victor) and grandchildren Sherri Clemis and Jeff Nehe and Kevin and Blair Barske; as well as her sisters Helen and Lila. Mother was a true helpmate to her husband Frank and while they owned and operated two stores and a hotel, she was still able to provide a loving home for her family. Mom loved making family dinners while she was able as well as gardening, crocheting, and growing house plants that thrived under her constant care. A private family funeral service was held in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fr. Michael Koryluk officiating. Interment has taken place. We wish to thank the wonderful staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for the love, care, and kindness they showed Mom during this past year while it was her home. Mom, we all love you so much and although our hearts are breaking, we know it was time for you to leave us. May God grant you eternal rest and may His Holy Light shine on you so you may rest forever in the peace and love of our Lord. Amen. Donations may be made in Jean's memory to Beacon Hill Lodge, 190 Fort Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1C9.
