GEORGE CHARLES ADAMS Peacefully after a brief illness and with his family at this side George passed away on September 30, 2006. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Christina in 1997, and his brother Bill in 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Kandy Moris (Ian Smith), his son George (Vicki), sister Earldene, sister-in-law Marlene, 6 grand-children; Robert and Michael Moris, Lisa and and Jennifer Smith, George Victor and Randee Adams, 6 great-grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dear and beloved friend Vicky who was a joy and comfort to him in his final years. Born June 27, 1927 he married Christina Ward on November 25, 1951. He worked for the CPR and later Canada Post until retirement in 1986 to care for his wife during her 11 year battle with Alzheimer's. George was a kind a generous man who always sacrificed his own need and dreams for the sake of his family, friends and often strangers. At the request of the deceased there will be no service and cremation as taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lorne Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Fund, Swan Lake, MB, R0G 2S0, 204-836-2132.
