STANISLAW CZAJKA Peacefully on September 29, 2006 Stanislaw (Stan) Czajka, beloved father and grandfather passed away at the age of 82. Stan leaves to cherish his memory daughter Donna (Edward), son Richard (Grace) grandchildren, Yvonne, Dorota (Rafal), Olivia, Samantha, Christopher and numerous relatives in Poland. Stan was born on December 8, 1923. He married his late wife Aniela with whom he shared 60 years of marriage until her passing in 2003. Stan worked at Versatile Farm Equipment until his retirement in 1989. He derived great pleasure from his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed family gatherings and always had a story or joke to tell. You could always count on him for a good laugh. Stan built, created and repaired many things for many people. He was a storey teller, comedian, poet, musician, blacksmith and inventor, maker of windmills and things you never imagined. Stan was known to have a fix' for anything and everything. There wasn't anything he couldn't repair. Friends and neighbors from near and far would come to him for his custom craftsmanship and handiwork and for all the things no one else could do. He would always find the perfect part that was needed. He enjoyed helping in this way and used his time and talent to the benefit of us all. You could find Stan tinkering in the garage, reading, or doing puzzles. He enjoyed a good movie, an involved wrestling match, a lively polka and a beautiful waltz. His loved his music and was always willing to share it. Stan the candy man could always be counted on to offer you a sweet treat. He loved animals and took many trips to the zoo. Even in his last year of life he was able to make several trips to Assinbiboine Park enjoying the wonders of nature and the animal kingdom. His faith community was a big part of his life and he was always proud to be connected to his faith brothers and sisters. Sincere thanks to friends who visited Stan and always sent along good wishes. Thanks also to his neighbors and all of our friends who have been providing support to our family during this time. Heart felt thanks is not enough to the talented and caring staff at Deer Lodge 6 West and the ALS Clinic. Your expertise, commitment and compassion have made all the difference. Tata, Dziadzio, friend, thank you for all you have given us. Lessons of hard work, joy derived from family and friends and the value of giving and keeping your word. We will always remember your bright blue eyes and your beautiful smile. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 3 at Cropo Funeral Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. with funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m., Minister Thomas Didur officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. KOCHAMY CIEBIE!
