TERRIS (TERRIE) AILEEN RUECKERT (SMITH) It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of a cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, auntie and dear friend. Terrie passed away on September 30, 2006 at the age of 53. She will be deeply missed by husband Alfred, children Lance (Bobbie) and granddaughter Magdeline (Gabriola Island, BC), Terra (Kamloops, BC), stepchildren Cameron, Randi and Darrin, Chris (Kathleen), Darcy (Deanna), Michael (Toronto) and Lisa (Toronto). Also left to mourn, mother Gail Madill, sister Karen Lajeunesse-Jungkind (Karl), brother Mitch Madill (Jayne), nieces Andréa, Christy and Sarah, aunts, uncles, cousins and many cherished friends. Terrie was predeceased by her father John in 1999. She was born in Fort William, Ontario on February 2, 1953. She will always be remembered for being loving, gentle and kind, despite the numerous health challenges she faced. In her love and appreciation for God, she never took life for granted and thoroughly enjoyed all of life's miracles. Terrie adored her children Lance and Terra. One of the highlights of her life was the birth of her granddaughter and her recent marriage to Alfred and a new, extended family. A celebration of Terrie's life will be held at Springs Church, 595 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Thursday, October 5 at 1:00 p.m. Public viewing will be held at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
