Mom was born September 13, 1913 in Broad Valley. She married her husband Albert on November 11, 1934. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Walter (Irene), John, Frank, Sarafin, and Andy; her daughters Mary, Vickie (Walter), Anne, Helen (Ron) and Jane; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Albert; her parents Peter and Elena Korbutiak; her sister Mary Koropatwa; brothers John, William and Metro; granddaughter Debbie and sons-in-law Mike and Metro. Mom was a very kind and loving person, she was a devoted mother and her family was very important to her. We were all very fortunate to have the opportunity to be surrounded by her love every time we were with her. Mom worked hard on the family farm. She enjoyed gardening, cooking (especially those doughnuts), sewing and knitting. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Arborg MacKenzie Funeral Chapel. Thanks for Showing Us Mom, thanks for showing us love, For we now know how to love. Mom, thanks for showing us faith, For we now know how to pray Mom, thanks for showing us life, For we all know how to enjoy living. Mom, thanks for showing us courage, For we all know how to face adversity. We miss you dearly Mom and Baba. Vichnaya Pam'Yat Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home, in care of arrangements.
