THELMA MCINTOSH (nee FUNK) September 2, 1916 September 30, 2006 With deep sadness we mourn the loss of our most wonderful Mother and Grandmother. Words cannot express how much she means to her family: Dale McIntosh, Dawn and Allen White (Andrew, Ian), Melonee Collins (Kelly, Kerry (Carl Schroeder), Lyall, Lindsey). She will be missed by Wayne (Marney) McIntosh (Rob, Kim). Mom is survived by her dear sister, Laura Geske. Mom married Dad (Fergy) on August 13, 1941. They shared many happy times in their 60 years together until Dad's passing on September 29, 2001. Mom enjoyed life to the fullest: golfing, curling, singing, sewing, gardening, playing cards and traveling. She was on-the-go all the time and always willing to try new things. Mom's great sense of humour and warm, outgoing personality endeared her to her many relatives and friends. Mom was a tower of strength who led by example. She was energetic, patient, kind, loving and compassionate. Even into her 90th year, she valued her freedom and independence. We extend our sincere gratitude to the caring staff at both the Victoria Hospital and 4 East Riverview H.C. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Church, 933 Summerside. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom's name to a charity of your choice are appreciated.
