Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTONY MYSKEW February 16, 1932 - October 2, 2006 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Tony Myskew, at the age of 74, on October 2, 2006 at Victoria Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family at his side. Tony is survived by his loving wife Fran; son Terry (Suzanne) their children, Mélanie (Marcel) and Christine; daughter Debbie (Willie) their children, Shannon and Ian; daughter Wendy (René) their children, Mandy and Tyler; Tony's brothers and sisters, Anne (Joe), Johnny (Carol), Mary (Fred), Bill (Bernice), Catherine (Bill), Mike (Adele), Rodney (Lori), Gordon and Edward; mother-in-law Jesse Bobie; brother-in-law Alex (Sharon); sisters-in-law, Helen (Mike), Diane and Josie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Tony is predeceased by parents Nick and Polly Myskiw, brother Peter and sister Helen. Tony was born in La Broquerie, MB on February 16, 1932. He and Fran were married April 28, 1954 and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Tony was a dedicated firefighter for 35 years for the City of Winnipeg. He was a loyal, dedicated husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him. He was an active member of the Retired Firefighters Group Platoon 5 . Tony enjoyed spending time with family and friends, time spent at the cottage, fishing, hunting and gardening. Tony was a Jack of all Trades . He will be missed by all Always . A special Thank you to the family, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service, and the staff at the Victoria Hospital for their care, understanding and support to Dad and the family. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway #1 East at Navin Road with viewing held half hour prior to the service. Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Chaplains Rick Cieciwa and Mark Young officiating. Interment at Green Acres Cemetery In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fire Fighters Burn Fund, Health Sciences Centre Burn Unit, Adult Burn Ward, GH5, 820 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1R9 or a charity of your choice.
