ROBERT (BOB) LESLIE LOVE
Date of Passing: Sep 30, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) LESLIE LOVE On Saturday, September 30, 2006 in the Beausejour Hospital, Beausejour, MB, Bob died at the age of 63 years. Bob will lovingly remembered by his sons, Dean (Heather) and granddaughter Emily, Ryan; Barb and their son Stephen (Rosi) Dudar; Barb's children, Adam and Heather Birch. Bob is predeceased by his wife Emily; parents George and Emma; his brother Bill and sisters Peg and Marnie. Throughout his colourful life, Bob had many opportunities to enjoy life in several small towns and cities in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Along the way, he worked on the air as a radio DJ, sold life insurance, farm equipment, cars, heavy equipment, and had a great time doing so. He was a guy who made friends quickly, and was always fiercely loyal to the many friends he had made through school, work and sport. Even right until the end, some of his oldest and dearest friends were by his side, and these friendships were massively important to him. He had a memory that would make most people very jealous; there hardly exists a place in either province where someone doesn't know him. He was a lifelong music lover and had, at one time, sung in a barbershop quartet . Bob's family was a great source of pride, enjoyment, worry and concern to him. Although many of them are in different places and provinces, they were never far from his mind. He passed on knowing that they loved him unconditionally, and they too, were by his side, providing jokes, encouragement, and care. He considered his many close fiends to be part of his family as well, and while they too are in many places (the left coast , Dauphin, Boissevain, Neepawa, Winnipeg, Portage la Prairie, Weyburn), they were often in his thoughts. He loved them all a great deal. Dad spent the last several years of his life with Barb in Beausejour, and together they spent much of their summer time traveling or relaxing at the cottage at Lake Nutimik, enjoying something they both loved - observing nature and the lake life . A celebration of Bob's life will held on Sunday, October 29, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Headingley Heritage Centre / Jim's Vintage Garages, 5353 Portage Ave., Headingley, MB. Our family extends heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Beausejour Hospital for their care, compassion, and understanding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Bob's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
