HAZEL JAMES (nee JANSEN) Peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2006 at Golden Links Lodge, Hazel James passed away at the age of 85 years. Hazel will be sadly missed by her son Ethan and his wife Nora-Dee and by her beloved granddaughter Erin, who was Hazel's pride and joy. She was predeceased by her mother Rachel; father Cecil; brother Don; and husband Wilfred. They had been married for over 50 years and lived in many places as Hazel's husband was in the Royal Air Force. After years of running a small hotel at a seaside resort in England, they emigrated to Canada in 1973 to be close to family. A very special thank you to the various departments at Golden Links Lodge for the wonderful care they provided. Hazel's wish was to be remembered as she was before her illness progressed. Honouring Hazel's request, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hazel's memory to: Golden Links Lodge, 2280 St. Mary's Rd, Box 248, Winnipeg, MB, R2M 4A5.
