KEN MAISTER Ken Maister, 38 years old died peaceful in his sleep on September 21, 2006, after a long battle with cancer. Ken always lived life to the fullest and he passed on with great dignity, pride and courage. Ken had a charismatic way about him and people were easily drawn to him. He was very honest and well respected by his many friends as well as his colleagues at Crosstown Dental Laboratory where he worked for the past 18 years. Ken is survived by his daughter Megan, whom he loved more that anything else in the world. He also leaves behind his brothers Art and Harry, sister-in-law Kayla, nieces and nephews Avril, Aaron, Seah and Nick. A pillar of strength until the very end, he will be sorely missed by his many friends and family. Funeral services were held at the Etz Chayim Synagogue. Pallbearers were Sean Meyers, Jason Diamond, Shauna Katz, Sam Kupfer, Kory Zelickson, David Fox and Aaron Maister. A very special thank you to the staff of the 3rd floor East wing of Riverview Centre for their wonderful compassion, care and support.
