Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) ARTHUR KNUTSON The family wishes to announce that Bill passed to his eternal home on October 8, 2006 at the age of 51. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Darlene; daughters, Melanie and Ashley; sister, Kathy and Bob Harris of Winnipeg; brother, Laurence and Pearl, (Laura and Sarah) of Elma; father-in-law Lawrence and mother-in-law Muriel Durston of Dauphin; sister-in-law Judy and Derek Timm (Cory and Christa) of Dauphin; as well as many relatives and friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents. Bill was born in Altona, MB February 13, 1955 to Katherine and Arthur Knutson of Dominion City, MB. Bill moved to Overstoneville and later to Winnipeg. He was employed by Winnipeg Transit since 1978. In 1980 he married Darlene Durston. They moved to Oakbank in 1983 where they raised their family. Bill was dedicated family man who believed in God. His travels took him to Texas, Thunder Bay, BC and AB, as well as many others. He enjoyed collecting stamps and working on his old truck. For by grace we have been saved through faith not of works. Eph 2:8-9 The family would like to give special thanks to Pastor Norm Neufeld, church members at Willowdale Fellowship, doctors, nurses, staff, home care workers and all who helped during this time. Memorial service will be on Wednesday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 10 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service. Interment at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin. In lieu of flowers, donations to Willowdale Fellowship Church Box 52 Grp 23 RR 2 Dugald, MB, R0E 0K0 would be greatly appreciated.
