GILBERT CLAUDE TRUDEAU Gilbert, beloved husband of Deanna, passed away unexpectedly at age 56 on Thursday, October 5, 2006. Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother Jacques (Suzanne Tétreault, his special friend), sisters-in-law Suzanne Trudeau, Rosemarie Natyna, Olive Koliznyk (Orest), brothers-in-law E. John Natyna (Adeline), and Henry Natyna (Marilyn). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and a great-niece whom he loved as his own children. Gilbert was predeceased by his infant son Keith, his infant sister Marie, his father Achille, and mother Adrienne. Gilbert was born April 08, 1950. He lived all his life in Ile-des-Chênes, Manitoba. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts Degree at St. Boniface College, he pursued his dream of trucking. Gilbert spent 36 years accident free working for several trucking companies, the last of which was Yanke. Gilbert was a caring, kind, person with a heart of gold. He could be serious and yet full of fun. He had a zest for life and a charismatic nature that drew people to him. He loved a good joke and enjoyed telling entertaining stories about his experiences. He cherished and treasured his loving wife more than anything but sadly passed away in their 29th year of marriage. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13 in the Notre-Dame-de-la-Miséricorde Church in Ile-des-Chênes, MB with Father Edmond Baril presiding. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be his nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Notre-Dame-de-la-Miséricorde Church, Box 40, Ile-des-Chênes, MB R0A 0T0 or to a charity of one's choice.
