JEANINE ST. LAURENT (nee NORMAND) Peacefully at home on October 8, 2006, Jeanine St. Laurent passed away after a lengthy battle with Scleroderma. Jeanine is lovingly remembered by her husband Louis, daughters, Jennifer (Lance) Miller, Lisa (Rick) St. Laurent, grandson Tristen Miller, brother Eugene (Mabel) Normand and sisters Louise Halischak and Simone Normand, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Jeanine was predeceased by her mother and father Rose and Phillip Normand, her sister Rose, brother Emile and her brother-in-law Leonard. The family would like to thank the doctors at St. Boniface Hospital, The Health Sciences CancerCare Centre and a special thanks to Dr. Mercier at the Regent Park Medical Plaza. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to The Scleroderma Society of Canada, 95 Woodfield Road SW, Calgary, AB T2W 5K5. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Anne's Road. God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be.
