ARCHIE BRYDEN Archie Bryden passed away peacefully on October 9, 2006 at Grace Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Archie was born April 28, 1923 in Airdrie, Scotland, aged 83. Archie was predeceased by his wife Marjorie; son Garry; brothers Bill and James; parents Oliver and Ellen. He is survived by his children, Sandra (David), Janet (Timmy), Randy (Andrea); daughter-in-law Sherry (Dale); grandchildren, Carri, Kelli, Christyn (John), Rhonda (Matt), Ashley, Meghan and Chelsey; great-grandchildren, Johnny, Nicholas and Nathan; special loved ones, Chris and Darlene and also numerous nieces and nephews. Archie was a loving husband and father and a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. He was happiest spending time with his family. He was also an avid fisherman. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Special thanks to the extraordinary compassion from the staff at the hospice, we will be forever grateful.
