Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADRIENNE (AUDREY) DELORME (nee CARRIERE) 1920 - 2006 Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Audrey Delorme, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the Golden Door Nursing Home. Mom was born on June 5, 1920 to Maxime and Josephine Carriere. She married her beloved Joseph on August 16, 1941 and celebrated 51 years of marriage until Dad's death on July 1, 1993. Mom was also predeceased by her sisters, Monica, Philo and Georgette. Left to mourn her passing and to hold her forever in their hearts are her two sons Richard (Heather) of St. Vital, MB and Paul (Lorna) of Airdrie, AB; her four granddaughters Dana, Andrea (Tim), Shae (Ted) and Stacey (Ryan); her three great-grandsons Carlin, Kaemon and Kaiden; her sisters, Muriel, Lucy and Sally, as well as many dear nieces, nephews and friends. Mom devoted her entire life to caring, nurturing and loving her family. Her incredible faith in her Lord Jesus Christ was an inspiration to all who knew her. Mom had a love for life, a great sense of humour, enjoyed her cards, word search puzzles and bingo, but nothing was more special than gatherings with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral mass at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Mary's Rd., St. Vital, on Friday October 13 at 10:00 a.m. A private interment will have already taken place. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, in memory of Mom, a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3C 4G2.
