GEORGE WARREN KEATES On Thursday, October 5, 2006 at the Grace Hospital, Warren Keates died at the age of 71 years. Warren was born June 11, 1935 to George and Zella Keates. He purchased Manitoba Cartage and Storage from his father and was proprietor until 1979. Warren was a long time and highly respected member of the Rotary Club of Central Winnipeg, the club that made Rotary international. He was active in the early days of Winnipeg Veteran's radio station CKVN, a member of the Lake of the Woods Property Association and a member of the Manitoba Club. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Lyn along with other relatives and a host of friends. A memorial reception will be held on Wednesday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Convention Centre.
