EDITH ELLEN HUNT (nee FAIERS) It is with sadness, the family announces the passing of Edith Hunt on October 12, 2006 at the Golden West Centennial Lodge at the age of 95 years. Edith was predeceased by her loving husband Frederick; her dear son Edward; brothers Edward and Arthur Faiers; sisters Frances and Florence Faiers. Her memory will be cherished by her son John and wife Mila; daughters-in-law Rena and Ann; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Steve, Paula and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Desiree, Ben, Tristin, Madeline and Cora. She will also be missed by her sister Dorothy Faiers. Edith came to Canada as a young girl and later returned to England to get married. She returned to Winnipeg in 1971 with her family. The family extends a special thank you to all the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge, especially the 4th floor nursing staff. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 19 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Chad's Anglican Parish, 3390 Portage Ave. with a reception to follow in the church hall.
