FRANCIS BOYSON (MYSHKOWSKY)
Date of Passing: Oct 13, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCIS BOYSON (nee MYSHKOWSKY) After a long and full life Francis Boyson passed away peacefully October 13, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital. She was 88. She is predeceased by her sisters Mary, Anne, Olga, Nelly; parents Helen and Leon Myshkowsky; husband Bill Boyson; brothers Johnny and Mike; daughter- in- law Beverlee; sister- in- law Pauline, and son Bob. Francis was born in Vita, Manitoba. She left home at the age of 13 to find her place in the world. Though she was a quiet, stay at home Gal, she was always busy. If she wasn't in her garden, then she was in the kitchen making something really good. When she wasn't painting she was sewing something very pretty. She enjoyed a lengthy career with Eaton's. On the weekends when she finished work, she would come home to look after her grandchildren. Sunday Dinner was always at her house. A master at multitasking whatever she did, she did it well. She became a grandmother at the age of 44 and a great grandmother at the age of 75. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her grandchildren Corrie Wasio (Brent Logan), Kelly Boyson (Lisa, Bram Jayce); her sister Evelyn; her favorite nephews in Windsor, George and William Yee, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Her family would like to acknowledge and thank the residents and caregivers of Thorvaldson Care Centre, 495 Stradbrook for all of the friendship and enjoyment their companionship brought to Gran's life. The family would like to express there thanks to the nurses and aides (angels) at St Boniface Hospital, for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Francis' memory to the Children's Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2. Her gentle manner and warm heart will be remembered and missed by many. CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715
