Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYDIA FUERST December 6, 1922 - October 14, 2006 Lydia was accepted into God's grace on Saturday, October 14, 2006. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Alvina, Ivy, Elsie and Alma; and son-in-law Robert. Lydia will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Beverly (Bob) and Rosemarie; grandchildren, Bobbi-Jo (Gary), Kristin, Tyler and Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, William and Christopher; sisters, Eileen, Madeline, Laverne, Clarice and Leyla; and brother Harry (Alice); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lydia was a faithful member of the Albright Church for 20 years. She was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan. Lydia spent many hours doing crafts creating many paper toile pictures for family and friends. She also enjoyed lawn bowling, darts and traveling. Lydia's greatest pleasure came from spending time with her family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 18 at 10:00 a.m. at the Albright Church, 3400 De Vries Avenue. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family wish to thank all the staff at Concordia Hospital for their support, kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 of the Albright Church, 3400 De Vries Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2E 0C8.
