OLIER (ARCHIE) VOYER Peacefully in the early morning of October 17, 2006, Archie, beloved husband of Thérèse Chaput-Voyer passed away. Archie was born in St. Boniface, MB on May 10, 1913. He was the son of Jean-Baptiste Voyer and Anna Brodeur. He is survived by his second wife Thérèse Chaput-Voyer, son Denis (Louise), their children Darren, David (Wendy), Shelley (Keith Nielsen), great-grandchildren Gabrielle, Jack, Grace and Max; daughter Evelyne Barker, her children Lisa, Steven (Crystal), granddaughter Brooklyn; daughter Lorraine Wall (Joe); as well as his stepchildren Ben and Pat Chaput, Paulette and Raymond Brunette, Simone and Craig Cameron and their families. Archie is also survived by his sister Aline Griffin (North Bay, ON). He was predeceased by his first wife Rita Gallant in 1985, his sister Yvette Vaillancourt, his brothers Aurel and Noël (Biz). Archie spent his entire work life of 49 years with Bowyer-Boag Plumbing Heating. He started as a heating apprentice and in the later years as partner - manager and president, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Winnipeg Mechanical Contractors Association, the Winnipeg Construction Association and past member of the Winnipeg Rotary Club. Dad's favourite activities were boat rides and puttering around the family cottage at White Lake in the Whiteshell. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2006 at Eglise des Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens, 289 Dussault Avenue, with Father Marcel Toupin presiding. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Darren, David, Steven, Denis Voyer, Steven Barker and Ben Chaput. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Foyer Valade, 450 River Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2M 5M4.
