EVELYN STRATTON April 5, 1910 - October 18, 2006 Born to Hugh and Lucy Jane Stratton, Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Winnipeg. Evelyn fought many health problems in her latter years, but finally could fight no longer after 96 years of an enduring life. She was the sole survivor of her siblings, Hugh, Violet, George, twin brothers, Edward and Theodore, twin sister Irene and baby brother, James. She was respected for her courage and tenacity throughout life, and had an abiding faith. The family wishes to thank the staff at the St. Norbert Nursing Home for their kindness and caring. A particular thank you to Marie Stratton for her love and care for Evelyn for nearly 25 years. And, lastly, to those who knew and visited her at St. Norbert, thank you. There will be a private family service of remembrance.
