Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERTHA LILLIAN HOGG (DAVIS) Peacefully at home in Woodlands on Tuesday, October 17, 2006, Mom passed away at the age of 87. She was born on August 10, 1919 to Jack and Ellen Hallett and grew up in Lake Francis, MB. After her marriage, she moved to Woodlands and lived there the rest of her life. Mom was predeceased by husbands, Elmer Davis (1955) and Jack Hogg (1978); sisters, Lyle Procter and Evelyn Stone and brother Jim Hallett. She will be lovingly remembered by two sons, Jim and Wayne (Carolyn) Davis; two daughters, Judy (Edward) Prystupa and Pam (Peter) Van Kemenade; stepsons, Harold (Diane) and Brian (Geri) Hogg; grandchildren, Danny, David, Norman, Jason, Justin, Joelle, Kim and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Joseph, Tristan, Nicholas, Bailey, Nathan and Jordan and two sisters, Helen Taylor and Ida Oliver and brother John Hallett. Everyone who visited Mom was guaranteed a genuine warm welcome, a hot cup of tea and an offering of food. She was devoted to the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved to visit her because of her positive attitude and wonderful sense of humour. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main St., Stonewall. Rev. Sue Foley-Currie will officiate. Interment will follow in St. George's Cemetery, Woodlands. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
