ROBERT E. RIDD September 23, 1947 - October 16, 2006 After a valiant battle with cancer, Robert (Bob) Ridd surrounded by his loved ones and dear friends, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He will be sadly missed by his mother Jessie; his sister Margaret and his two sons, John (Cathy) and Michael Ridd. He also leaves behind his three precious granddaughters, Faith, Anna and Katie. He was predeceased by his father, Harold in 2001. He will also be sadly missed by his dear friend Norm (Szilvi). Bob served over in Vietnam with the U.S.M.C., but his true passion was his Lord and Saviour. He truly believed in John 3:16. He was loved and respected for his beliefs and numerous ministries he supported and was involved with. He will be sadly missed by the body of Christ. Funeral service, in celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20 at Immanuel Pentecostal Church, 955 Wilkes Ave. Viewing one half hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the staff on 3 East at Riverview, who took loving care of Dad.
