ELEANOR JOY DAYE (nee RICHLEW) With deep sadness the family of Eleanor Daye regretfully announces the unexpected but peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother on October 15, 2006. Eleanor was 78 years of age. Eleanor was predeceased by her loving husband Ed in 2002, mother and father Joseph and Julia Richlew and brothers Raymond and Orest. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Terry (Louise), granddaughter Julia; Cory Day, grandchildren Ryan and Halee and Lawrence (Tamra), grandson James. Mom attended Norquay, St. John's High School, Success Business College and Red River College. She was employed by McCaine Electric and later with Seven Oaks School System as a para-professional and library technician. Mom was very creative and loved many things, she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Mom and Dad enjoyed travelling and after retirement loved being snowbirds throughout the southern United States and Canada. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother, most of all a friend and loved by all. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Draper officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined donations in Mom's memory may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
