JAMES ROBERT BUTLER 1963 - 2006 It is with great sorrow that the family of Jim Butler announces his sudden passing, on October 16, 2006. Jim leaves to deeply mourn his passing his children (first marriage) Timothy and Katie Butler; and (second marriage) Kyle and Teeghan along with their mother Stacey Butler, his parents Norman and Rowena Butler, sister Linda (David) Craig, brothers Norman (Sheila) Butler and Ronald (Susan) Butler. He will also be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts, extended families and his circle of friends. Jim lived much of his life on what was once a farm in St. James, and always enjoyed the outdoors. As a child he loved to build things, forts, dirt bikes, and enjoyed camping, reading, and music. As an adult he would hook up his electric guitar and speaker on the back step and blast his repertoire (which he was often teased needed expanding). Jim loved to sit around a camp fire with his friends and family and enjoy a summer evening. Jim was always interested in antiques, refinishing or building furniture, and always had several projects on the go. In fact, Jim could pretty much do anything he put his mind to. He was a talented businessman, could overhaul a tractor in no time, paint a car, and he drove the loader like it was a part of his arm. He always looked forward to his Tuesday night pool games, his group of poker friends, and so much more. A life cut too short, a family who will miss him desperately, and so loved. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations may be made in Jim's name to The Salvation Army. Cremation has taken place.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I miss my brother every day. Just like any siblings we always didn't agree. No one can replace the hole in my heart. Remember Jim you always said you were as free as I was cause I got off the farm, well you are free now and I'm sure I'll be along soon. Always in our heart. Love your little brother, Ronnie - Posted by: Ronald Butler (Brother) on: Jan 10, 2017
