WALTER (BILL) DERESKI On Wednesday, October 18, 2006, Walter (Bill), aged 79 years, passed away peacefully at the Pinawa Hospital with his family at his side. Walter is survived by Kay (Kathleen), his loving wife of 54 years; his four sons, Terry, Kelvin, Lisle and Ronald; his daughters-in-law, Kathy, Diana, Jan and Judy; and his nine grandchildren, Sarah, Laura, Sean, Daniel, Will, Beckah, Alex, Jose and Megan. Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 22, from 7:00 9:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour. The funeral service will be on Monday, October 23 at Sobering Funeral Chapel beginning at 10:30 a.m. with a Masonic service to follow. Interment will follow at the Pinawa Cemetery, with a gathering of family and friends afterwards at the Pinawa Lutheran Church. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Opie, Dr. Petkau and the staff of the Pinawa Clinic / Hospital for the excellent care in Walter's final days. Appreciation is also extended to close friends and family who were there for us in these trying times. Flowers and gifts in memory of Walter are graciously declined.
