Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL SUMMERS February 13, 1957 - October 7, 2006 Paul Norris Summers passed away after a longtime battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his mother Darlyne Summers and father Norris Summers. He leaves behind his wife Pamela, her children, Trista and Jerrit, sister Terri (Peter) and niece Jade, also longtime special friend Nadeen Pickard, as well as numerous friends and relatives. Paul was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB; he graduated from high school at Murdoch Mackay Collegiate. He spent many years at Canada Packers as supervisor. Upon their closure, he moved out west to make Calgary his home. He spent the last 15 years working for Weston Bakeries. Paul loved to talk to people and would lend a helping hand to anyone when the need arose. He enjoyed long drives to the mountains, movies, playing on the computer and remote control cars. Paul took great enjoyment in surprising everyone he knew, by giving gifts or practical jokes. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. If friends so desire, donations can be made to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre Brain Tumor Research, Calgary, AB. A memorial service will be held at the Transcona Cemetery on Dugald Road on Friday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Transcona Legion, Regent Avenue and Day Street.
