ALLAN TIMOTHY CLARK December 25, 1965 October 14, 2006 It is with great sadness and sorrow that the family of Allan Timothy Clark, aged 40, announces his untimely passing at Riverview Health Centre, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Allan is survived by his mother Carole Clark; brothers, Roy (Michelle) in Brandon, Patrick (Maryanne), Adrian (Karen) in Toronto; sister Carole Manthey; nephews and niece, aunts and uncles, and many, many friends around the world. Allan was predeceased by his father Roy Clark. Allan was born in Madison, WI, moved around as most military families do until coming to Winnipeg in 1974. A wanderer and an adventurer at heart, Allan joined The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada Cadet Corps in 1978. He had an 18 year career with Conklin Shows where he travelled extensively. In 2001, Allan became a scholar, deciding to complete his grade 12 at the Winnipeg Adult Education Centre. Allan graduated in June 2004 with the Governor-General's Medal. He also received a Special Entrance Scholarship from the University of Winnipeg and a four-year William Jean Meagher Bursary . Unfortunately, Allan was never to see his dream of becoming a teacher. Allan's family wish to thank the staff at G6, Health Sciences Centre and CancerCare Manitoba. They especially appreciate the thought and compassion from the 'angels' on 3E, Riverview Health Centre. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 23 at the Army and Navy #1 Winnipeg unit, located at 300-1395 Ellice Ave., across from Empress St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allan's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Sorry for your loss. I caught this when I googled my own name and found it oddly strange. My father's name was Roy, just as your son's is, and my mother's name is Carole, funny how things go. Best wishes - Posted by: Allan Clark () on: Nov 06, 2012

  • This is a message to honor Allan's family in their time of grief. The news came to me with great shock and sadness and some regret that I could not add to easing his pain in some way. Please know that my prayers go out to you and take some comfort that he has gone Home, a place where no pain exists and he is happy, truly happy and waiting for you. - Posted by: Jennifer Holly MacDonald (Friend) on: Oct 18, 2006
