KENNETH ALEXANDER FRASER 1925 2006 Following a lengthy illness, Ken passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Ken is survived by his wife, Margaret (née Luce), his two daughters, Jill and Barbara Little (Don) and six grandchildren: Kyle, Nancy, Ainsley, Christopher, Jacqueline and Monica. He is also survived by his brother, Gerry (Elvera) of Melfort, SK and his sister-in-law, Vern Band of White Rock, BC and their children. Ken was born November 14, 1925, in Riding Mountain, MB. He served in the RCNVR during The Second World War. He moved to Brandon in 1946 where he met Margaret, his wife of 57 years. For 33 years, Ken worked for (and later owned) Christie School Supply, retiring in 1979, to pursue other interests. In accordance with Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service was held at the Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken's memory to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, MB, R7A 2B3 or to a charity of choice. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the Assiniboine Centre and Brandon Regional Health Centre for all the care Ken received.
